Martha Stewart Weddings

I’m excited to announce that Admire Design was chosen to be the featured designer for Envelopments® representing Connecticut in the winter 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings! How awesome is that? The magazine is celebrating their 15th anniversary, plus Envelopments® is turning 15! A double birthday, congrats!

The ad debuts a brand new design “Claire & Diego” which you can view in detail here. The suite features a warm and inviting color palette of Coriander and Pyrite, accented with Serpentine, Chrysophase, Navajo, Aquamarine and a hint of White Micah. The Art Nouveau inspired graphics swirl around the playful Adios Script by Alejandro Paul. When assembled, the Save the Date sits halfway inside a Portable Pocket®, concealing the wording until you slide it out and, surprise!

I also want to point out how both pieces from the “Claire & Diego” design are printed on non-neutral stocks! I just love the way color is used here. The Save the Date is printed on Serpentine stock and the Wedding Invitation is on Aquamarine stock. Envelopments® offers a wide range of very pale colors that can be used to print on. I think it’s a very clever way to bring a unique look to your invitation set instead of using the traditional white or ecru. Like this idea? Here’s a list of pale neutrals you can coordinate into your design: Casaba, Blush Pink, Powder Blue, Aquamarine, Serpentine, Luster, Coral and Zinc! View the colors here.
